On Wednesday, the IoTeX team announced via X that Core v2.3.0 is now live on the IoTeX mainnet.

On Wednesday, the IoTeX team announced via X that Core v2.3.0 is now live on the IoTeX mainnet. This release strengthens the network to support large-scale real-world AI workloads.

Key improvements include; 

  • Validator reliability: new slashing mechanism (IIP-50) rewards high-performance delegates.

  • Future scalability: BLS key registration sets the stage for signature aggregation and faster finality.

IoTeX's mission is to be a privacy-centric blockchain managing the entire information lifecycle of an Internet of Things (IoT) network, including data collection, transport, storage, and utilization. IOTX is down 3% today and is currently trading at $0.01184.
