The Injective team announced via a blog post on Friday that it has partnered with AltLayer to create the first-ever restaking security framework for on-chain inEVM applications. AltLayer offers a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to address the scalability challenges facing Web3 applications.

Thanks to this latest development, inEVM can leverage the security of not only Injective but also Ethereum as a whole, bringing the security of over $400 Billion in assets to the world of inEVM. With this integration, inEVM is able to be more simultaneously Ethereum and Injective aligned than ever before, further merging the two L1 ecosystems, the team added.

Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $42.16, up by 2% in the last 24 hours.
