The Injective team announced via a blog post on Friday that it has released gas compression in a bid to make transaction costs on Injective the lowest in all of crypto.

Thanks to this latest development, the team said any transaction whether that be for staking, trading on a dApp, lending, minting an NFT, voting on a gov proposal and more will incur effectively zero cost.

Furthermore, each transaction on the platform now incurs a nominal cost of only 0.00001 INJ or $0.0003 USD. Finally, Injective's dApps can easily tap into the advantages of these revised gas prices by simply adjusting their gas configuration from the previous 500000000 INJ to the newly established rate of 160000000 INJ.

Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $36.10, up by 3% in the last 24 hours.
