INJ Adds 60% to its Value in One Week

INJ, the native coin of the Injective blockchain, has been the best performer amongst the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap over the last 12 months. Year-to-date, INJ has added roughly 3,000% to its value, outperforming the other major cryptocurrencies.

The massive rally has seen INJ climb up the ladder and is now the 26th cryptocurrency in terms of market cap. The coin set a new all-time high of $39.88 a few hours ago and could soon cross the $40 mark in the next few hours. At press time, the price of INJ stands at $39.06, up by 2% in the last 24 hours.

INJ continued its rally over the weekend despite the broader market undergoing a correction. The coin added 60% to its value in the last seven days as it set new all-time highs along the way.

INJ’s rally comes as the broader crypto market undergoes a slight correction. BTC is down by less than 1% in the last 24 hours and is now trading at $42,696 per coin. Ether has also lost more than 1% of its value and is currently trading at $2,208.

The total cryptocurrency market cap has now recovered to $1.6 trillion after it dipped to the $1.56 trillion mark over the weekend.
