IEEE is set to implement its credentialing system on the Avalanche blockchain, making the verification process instant and secure.

IEEE is set to implement its credentialing system on the Avalanche network, a move that is recognized as an important milestone in the adoption of Web3 technologies.

This latest development is a huge milestone for the Web3 ecosystem thanks to IEEE’s global impact. The organization has over 426,000 members in more than 160 countries. It is known for inspiring a global community through its publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.

In India, IEEE has over 75,000 members, making India the second largest IEEE membership base outside the United States.

The implementation of IEEE’s credentialing system on the Avalanche blockchain is designed to issue tamper-evident credentials to all IEEE trainees and users, making the verification process instant and secure. The credentials are vital in industry and academia, and the blockchain-based system, built on the Avalanche blockchain, ensures their authenticity and integrity.

The collaboration between IEEE and Zupple Labs will begin with the issuance of hundreds of thousands of credentials for Indian users on Avalanche Blockchain, ensuring that they are tamper-proof and instantly verifiable.

The launch of this blockchain-based credentialing system on the Avalanche blockchain is expected to bring transparency, efficiency, and security to IEEE's processes. The move will benefit IEEE’s stakeholders and ensure that credentials issued by the organization are tamper-proof and instantly verifiable.

The Avalanche blockchain is a leader in the crypto space and is known for fast transaction speeds, customizability, and nearly infinitely-scalable architecture. Avalanche’s subnet model also provides unmatched composability and options for blockchain networks and builders.

While commenting on this latest development, Devika Mittal, Head of India, Ava Labs, said,

"We are so excited to implement a blockchain-based credentialing system on the Avalanche blockchain. This initiative will revolutionize the way digital credentials are issued and verified, delivering unprecedented levels of transparency, security, and efficiency. We are confident that Avalanche's unique capabilities will make it the preferred platform for credentialing in the Web3 era."

Avalanche is a smart contracts platform that scales infinitely and regularly finalizes transactions in less than one second. Its novel consensus protocol, Subnet infrastructure, and HyperSDK toolkit enable Web3 developers to easily launch powerful, custom blockchain solutions.

Meanwhile, Ava Labs makes it simple to deploy high-performance solutions for Web3, led by innovations on Avalanche. The company was founded by Cornell computer scientists, who partnered with Wall Street veterans and early Web3 leaders to execute a promising vision for redefining the way people build and use open, permissionless networks. Ava Labs is redefining the way people create value with Web3.
