Chainlink announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday that Helio Protocol will integrate Chainlink CCIP across the BNB Chain and Ethereum mainnets. Helio Protocol will leverage CCIP’s Simplified Token Transfer capabilities to enhance its decentralized stablecoin with secure cross-chain functionality, enabling a more secure and seamless multi-chain user experience for Helio Protocol users.

The team said the choice for Chainlink CCIP is because CCIP’s Simplified Token Transfers have additional security features like Rate Limits, and enable ecosystem partners to easily build new capabilities around a supported token via a single CCIP interface.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $14.301 at press time.
