The Hedera team announced via Twitter on Monday that it has introduced new capabilities enabled by the JSON-RPC. These updates are designed to enhance developer experience and prepare the Hedera ecosystem for wider interoperability and adoption across the Web3 ecosystem.
With these tools and the imminent availability of MetaMask for retail users, the team said they are making sure that the Hedera ecosystem is ready to welcome a broader user base and adapt for the future.
In preparation, the #Hedera ecosystem will support JSON-RPC-enabled wallets and apps, offering the transfer of HBAR to/from 0x accounts, updated ‘token associations’ for greater usability MetaMask connectivity, and EVM tooling compatibility.
Using a plugin, the integration of ChatGPT with the Hedera network allows for retrieving HBAR and token balances from Hedera accounts, the team added.
Hedera Hashgraph is distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.0523 at press time, down by 1% over the last 24 hours.
