The Polygon Labs team announced via X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday that  Fuse Network, a Layer-1 blockchain player focused on scaling Web3 payments, has partnered with Polygon Labs.

The partnership will see Fuse Network create an Ethereum-based Zero Knowledge (ZK) Layer-2 (L2) network, harnessing the capabilities of the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK). The ZK-powered Layer-2 will become Fuse’s native network, offering access to significant blockchain ecosystems and using FUSE as the gas fee token, the Fuse Network team added.

According to the Fuse Network, this development leverages the scalability, customization, privacy, and Web3 support of the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK).

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is up by 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.8109.
