Layer-1 blockchain Flare has revealed that it would hold a Builder Event in Tokyo, granting builders an opportunity to earn how Flare helps them harness price and time series data.

The Flare team announced that it would be holding a Builder Event in Tokyo on the sidelines of the WebX Tokyo Conference.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said the event would be a great opportunity for developers to experience first-hand the Layer-1 that expands the utility of blockchain.

With decentralized oracles built into the structure of the network, builder will learn how Flare helps them harness price and time series data, blockchain event and state data, and web2 API data.

Builders will enjoy hands-on experience with the Flare team and technologists. The Flare team will be visiting Japan to meet and grow this highly innovative community.

The Builder Event will be followed by an informal social event, giving builders the opportunity to meet other developers within the blockchain ecosystem and talk to the Flare team.

The schedule of the event is as follows:

  • 17:00-19:00 - Developer Workshop and Discussion with Flare CEO & Co-Founder Hugo Philion

  • 19:00-20:00 - Networking with refreshments: food & drink.

The Flare team added that everyone is welcome to the event as they look to promote blockchain technology. Flare is a Layer-1 blockchain focused on providing developers with information at scale in a decentralized manner. Flare’s data acquisition protocols are built into the blockchain rather than on top of it, offering inexpensive and highly scalable access to more types of quality data.

The project’s State Connector protocol enables "secure," "scalable," and "trustless" use of information from other blockchain networks and the Internet in smart contracts on Flare.

Flare also has the Time Series Oracle, which provides developers with highly decentralized pricing information and data feeds to dapps on Flare without relying on a centralized provider.
