Flare Network has partnered with Ankr to provide developers with high-performance RPC infrastructure.

Flare Network, the EVM-based smart contract platform built for secure data acquisition & interoperability, announced on Friday, July 7th that it is expanding its suite of remote procedure call (RPC) tooling for developers through a strategic partnership with the decentralized Web3 infrastructure provider Ankr.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, Flare Network said the partnership will provide developers building on Flare with access to distributed, high-performance RPC services that simplify node operations and streamline the dApp development process.

While commenting on this latest development, Hugo Philion, CEO & co-founder of Flare, stated that;

“Flare’s partnership with Ankr means developers have access to premium RPC tooling from the blockchain industry’s leading node provider, in addition to the API Portal and Google Cloud infrastructure. The partnership underscores Flare’s commitment to providing developers with a flexible, robust and reliable stack to build and monitor their dApps and services while maintaining enterprise-grade levels of availability and security.”

Developers would also benefit from Ankr’s Advanced APIs with custom indexing, helping them to reduce friction for first-time onboarding and easy querying for onchain data, such as non-fungible token (NFT) metadata.

Josh Neuroth, Ankr’s VP of Product, added that;

"Ankr is excited to join forces with Flare to create a more secure and interconnected blockchain ecosystem with a data-rich and interoperable developer experience. Putting developers first with incredibly strong infrastructure shows Flare’s dedication to becoming a hub for building some of the most secure and connected web3 applications.”

Flare is an EVM-based Layer 1 smart contract platform extending the utility of blockchain. As an EVM-compatible chain, any decentralized applications coded in Solidity can be run on Flare and harness trustlessly acquired price & time series data, blockchain event & state data, and web2 API data - at scale.

Furthermore, decentralized applications running on the Flare Network can serve multiple ecosystems via a single deployment with novel trust-minimized bridges and data relays.

Ankr, on the other hand, is one of the leading cloud infrastructure providers in the Web3 space, providing RPC services to more than 35 different blockchains. The network provides services, including HTTPS and WebSocket RPC endpoints offered through bare metal cloud servers.

Ankr provides a suite of developer tools that make it simple to build innovative, sophisticated and highly-scalable multichain dApps.
