The Avalanche Foundation announced via a blog post on Wednesday that ‍Feature.io, an entertainment studio aiming to evolve how we experience digital content, is building its patent-pending Smart Content on Avalanche. 

This feature would enable Smart Content to integrate into any streaming platform or media file, empowering brands and studios to add Web3 elements that make the consumption of content more active and rewarding.

With Avalanche-powered Smart Content, users can earn special benefits or rewards for completing an episode or series, watching a live-streamed performance, or listening to a new single.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is down by 3% so far today and currently trades at $34.24 per coin.
