The Injective team announced via X on Wednesday that Ethena Labs has integrated with Injective, marking its first expansion outside of the Ethereum ecosystem. Thanks to this integration, both the Injective and the broader IBC community now have access to USDe, enabling users to earn Ethena Shards beginning on March 11th.

Ethena aims to revolutionize DeFi with the creation of yield-bearing synthetic tokens, having reached nearly 1B in TVL in less than a month

USDe is Ethena’s synthetic dollar, which provides a censorship-resistant, stable, & scalable solution for the digital asset market. From Monday, March 11th, Ethena will allow Injective users to receive shards (Ethena’s point system) for holding USDe in their Injective wallets.

Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $39.04, up by 5% in the last 24 hours.
