Deutsche Telekom Announces Support For Polygon Blockchain Infrastructure

The Polygon team announced via a blog post on Wednesday that Deutsche Telekom, one of the world's leading integrated telecommunications companies, is a validator on Polygon.

The Polygon team announced via a blog post on Wednesday that Deutsche Telekom, one of the world's leading integrated telecommunications companies, is a validator on Polygon.

Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary, Deutsche Telekom MMS, extends its validation nodes to Polygon, providing staking and validation services for the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network and Polygon’s Supernets solutions. Deutsche Telekom MMS is one of only 100 validators on the Polygon (PoS) network. 

This latest development after Deutsche Telekom MMS became a validator on a few other networks, including, Q, Flow, Celo, Chainlink, and Ethereum. 

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is up by 1 % in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.8896.
