Decentraland announced in a tweet on Wednesday that it has postponed its wearable fee change.

Decentraland announced in a tweet on Wednesday that it has postponed its wearable fee change. The wearable publication fee was approved by its community and was set to come into effect today, May 26th. However, the change has now been postponed until further notice to give the community time to reassess the situation and propose changes through the DAO. The Decentraland community previously voted for the Wearable publication fee to be set to a stable $500, rather than 500 MANA, to protect creators from the fluctuating value of MANA which would sometimes make the fee too high.

Decentraland is a virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Users can create, experience, and monetize content and applications. One of the main features of the platform is the ability to purchase land in its virtual reality & build on it.

Decentraland’s MANA is up by 5% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $1.0286
