Crypto Exchange BitMEX Expands Its Partnership With AC Milan

BitMEX Partners With AC Milan

Cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX has expanded its partnership with Italian football club AC Milan. 

In a press release on Wednesday, the football club revealed that the cryptocurrency exchange had become a Premium Partner of the Club. BitMEX will also continue to serve as the official cryptocurrency trading partner of the club.

The extended partnership seeks to boost the cryptocurrency exchange’s brand presence by taking advantage of AC Milan’s global fanbase. However, the value of the deal was not revealed. 

While commenting on this latest development, Stephan Lutz, CEO & Group CFO of BitMEX, said; 

"We are thrilled to reinforce our partnership with AC Milan. Beyond the philanthropic projects we have worked on together, we both appreciate and applaud the spirit of competition and the sense of connection that comes from it. At BitMEX, we strive to include connection and competition in the services and products we offer - our new social trading feature Guilds allows traders to team up as a Guild and trade against one another."

Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan, added that the club is happy to continue its journey alongside BitMEX. He added that AC Milan intends to take further steps forward in the path of digitalization, innovation and growth of the club.

This latest development comes a week after BitMEX launched Guilds, its social trading feature for professional traders. The feature offers users the opportunity to explore and actively engage with fellow traders.
