MakerDAO informed its community members via Twitter on Tuesday that Credix Finance proposes a strategic Arranger partnership with MakerDAO to enhance access to capital in Latin American markets.

With an initial 150 million DAI facility, Credix aims to fund senior-secured structured debt to FinTech lenders as the Arranger. As the Arranger, Credix would handle sourcing, underwriting, and deal structuring for the proposed partnership with MakerDAO. Rigorous due diligence would be conducted at every stage to ensure transparency and reliability, the MakerDAO team added.

MakerDAO is a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) project with a crypto-collateralized, stablecoin DAI pegged to the US dollar. Its community manages the coin via a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). MKR is trading at $636, up by more than 1% in the last 24 hours.
