Chainlink announced via a blog post on Tuesday that Chainlink Staking v0.2 is now live on Ethereum mainnet. This means that existing v0.1 stakers can migrate their staked LINK and accrued rewards to v0.2 with guaranteed access during the nine-day Priority Migration phase.

The team added that from December 7 at 12 PM ET, LINK token holders who meet predefined eligibility requirements have the opportunity to stake up to 15,000 LINK in a four-day period before General Access. From December 11 at 12 PM ET, anyone can stake up to 15,000 LINK, provided that the pool has not yet been filled.

Furthermore, at the launch of Staking v0.2, the capped 45,000,000 LINK pool will consist of a 40,875,000 LINK allotment for community members, with the remainder allocated to Chainlink node operators currently servicing Chainlink Data Feeds.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by less than 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $14.561 at press time.
