Chainlink Data Feeds are now live on Polygon zkEVM, enabling developers to build advanced DeFi applications with the industry-leading data solution.

The Polygon team announced via a blog post on Friday that Chainlink Data Feeds are now live on Polygon zkEVM, enabling developers to build advanced DeFi applications with the industry-leading data solution.

The features offered by Chailink Data Feeds allow DeFi developers to easily tap external price data to build and launch highly effective liquidity protocols, advanced decentralized exchanges, and more.

The team added that Chainlink Data Feeds are resistant to API downtime, flash crash outliers, and data manipulation attacks like flash loans, making them the best fit for security-first DeFi protocols built on Polygon zkEVM.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $13.870 at press time.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is down by 4% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.8070.
