The Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) has integrated Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to provide users with a secure and reliable way to transfer USDC across chains.

Chainlink announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday that the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) has integrated Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to provide users with a secure and reliable way to transfer USDC across chains.

Thanks to this latest development, developers can now start building secure cross-chain applications using Chainlink CCIP to utilize USDC across the multi-chain ecosystem. The integration of CCTP opens up new use cases with USDC, such as seamless and secure cross-chain transfers, payments and other DeFi interactions for protocols building with Chainlink CCIP, the team added.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 5% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $15.926 at press time.
