BTCC Exchange Closes 2025 with 11 Million Users, Hits $53.1B in Tokenized RWA Futures

2025 ended astonishingly for BTCC Exchange, one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. The exchange reported record-breaking figures in several areas of its operations as it revamps its platform to improve its services.

BTCC Exchange Tops 11 Million Users Despite Market Volatility

One of the biggest achievements for BTCC Exchange in 2025 was the milestone of 11 million users by the end of the year. This latest development comes despite the volatile market conditions.

In its Q4 report, BTCC pointed out that while the final quarter of the year was shaped by industry-wide slowdowns, BTCC’s diversified approach helped mitigate the impact. The platform recorded $775 billion in trading volume during Q4, including $670 billion in futures and $105 billion in spot trading. Among its various product lines, tokenized RWA futures stood out as the year’s strongest performer, generating $53.1 billion in total volume. Nearly half of that, $22.7 billion, came in Q4 alone.

While commenting on the milestone, Marcus Chen, Product Manager at BTCC, said,

“Our tokenized RWA futures product type proved visionary during Q4's challenges. We maintained user growth and expanded our product offerings precisely during challenging market conditions.”

Throughout the year, top-traded assets included gold, silver, NVIDIA, WTI crude oil, and Tesla—each accessible via USDT without intermediaries or geographic restrictions.

Additionally, BTCC integrated with TradingView in Q4, a move that brought advanced charting and technical analysis tools directly to its user base. The integration allows users to access real-time market data and hundreds of technical indicators across more than 400 crypto and tokenized markets—all within the TradingView interface.

Chen added that,

“TradingView integration delivers professional-grade tools to every trader, regardless of experience level. Whether analyzing Bitcoin or tokenized Tesla futures, users can now access all of BTCC’s perpetual futures directly through TradingView's platform.”

BTCC Expanded Its Product Offering

In the last quarter, the cryptocurrency exchange expanded its product offering with the addition of new assets such as Zcash (ZEC), Pippin (PIPPIN), and Audiera (BEAT).

BTCC also introduced copy trading features for its Futures Pro product. The exchange now supports over 400 trading pairs across spot and futures markets.

The cryptocurrency exchange also recorded progress in terms of security. BTCC increased its Risk Reserve Fund by $2.2 million, bringing the total to more than $21 million.

It also continued to publish monthly Proof of Reserves reports, consistently exceeding the 100% benchmark that has become the industry standard for transparency.

Another aspect in which BTCC has taken an active role is in community engagement. The exchange hosted the Poolside Sync Party at TOKEN2049 Singapore. It was at this event that BTCC announced plans to triple its workforce to 3,500 employees, supporting its growing user base and Web3 development goals.

2025 ended with a major industry accolade. In December, BTCC was voted Best Centralized Exchange (Community Choice) at the BeInCrypto 100 Awards, receiving the highest number of votes globally.

The crypto exchange is already looking ahead to 2026. This year, BTCC plans to deepen its RWA product lineup, expand listings of emerging crypto assets, and pursue new partnerships that will support its mission.

According to Chen, 2025 was a milestone year for BTCC.

“As we scale our team and expand our offerings, we're building for the long term, not just for trading, but for meaningful Web3 adoption,” Chen added.

Founded in 2011, BTCC is a leading global cryptocurrency exchange serving over 11 million users across 100+ countries. Partnered with 2023 Defensive Player of the Year and 2x NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. as global brand ambassador, BTCC delivers secure, accessible crypto trading services with an unmatched user experience.
