BTC Surges by 3% as Bulls Look to Continue Recent Run

BTC is trading above the $63k level, starting the week positively as it looks to break past the $65k barrier in the coming hours or days.

BTC Eyes $65k as Fresh Rally Commences

Bitcoin, the world’s leading cryptocurrency by market cap, is up by more than 3% in the last 24 hours. Thanks to this rally, BTC briefly touched the $64k level before slightly retracing.

At press time, Bitcoin’s price stands at $63,509 per coin. If the bullish momentum is maintained, BTC could surge towards the $65k level in the coming hours or days. Bitcoin continues to eye its all-time-high price of $69k as institutional money flows into the market.

BTC’s latest positive performance comes after the world’s leading cryptocurrency by market cap consolidated around the $61k mark. BTC has been trading around that region over the last few days following last week’s rally.

With BTC in the green again, other leading cryptocurrencies are also rallying higher. Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, is trading above $3,460 per coin, up by nearly 2% today.

Leading memecoin Dogecoin is the best performer amongst the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap today. DOGE is up by more than 8% in the last 24 hours and is now trading above $0.15 per coin.

With the market bullish again, the total cryptocurrency market cap has added 2% to its value and now stands at $2.39 trillion.
