Binance Academy Expands Crypto Education Via Intermediate-Level Web 3 Courses

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance’s education portal, Binance Academy, continues expanding to provide Web 3 education, launching its new intermediate online courses. The new intermediate courses aim to deliver well-versed crypto fanatics with a higher level of learning in the blockchain and crypto space. The latest courses follow the successful debut of its beginner online courses, launched in late 2022, which welcomed an impressive 170,000 crypto learners. 

According to the team statement, the intermediate track will include six comprehensive courses on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DApps, DeFi, NFTs, and crypto trading. The intermediate track will encompass longer courses than the beginner track, designed to be completed within  60 to 90 minutes. The beginner track offered 6 courses, including blockchain fundamentals, crypto fundamentals, decentralization, trading fundamentals, trading and investing strategies, and Web 3 & the metaverse – each course typically completed in 20 to 30 minutes. 

Additionally, each course will also have engaging quizzes and insightful reading materials, aiming to improve understanding and test the learner’s knowledge after completing the course. 

Binance Academy launches its first intermediate course

Kickstarting the intermediate level courses is the ‘Blockchain Deep Dive’, which is already available on Binance Academy in English, with the remaining five courses set to be launched over the coming months in multiple languages.  This will mark a new chapter for Binance Academy, offering the maturing crypto and Web 3 sector free education materials to bolster their knowledge. 

Speaking on the launch, Binance co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Yi He said: 

“We think it’s so important to equip people with the necessary knowledge - it’s a mission we take to heart at Binance Academy. As the industry leader, we are committed to driving innovation not just through our technology but also by making education accessible to all.”

Finally, NFT certificates will be awarded upon completion of the course. For every one of the six courses, the learners will receive certificates of achievement, downloadable as PDFs or NFT formats. 

Since its launch in 2018, Binance Academy has provided millions of learners with free crypto resources, including articles, research pieces, and its ‘Learn & Earn’ program, which pays out crypto for learning. The intermediate course series aims to push Web 3 knowledge further to the global population, encouraging more people to build their crypto knowledge.
