The Axie Infinity team announced via Twitter on Monday that it has banned 210 Axies across 7 accounts for match-fixing in Season 20.

The Axie Infinity team announced via Twitter on Monday that it has banned 210 Axies across 7 accounts for match-fixing in Season 20. The accounts have been banned for 999 days and each player is indefinitely banned from participating in Axie eSports tournaments. 

Axie Infinity is a Pokémon-inspired digital pet universe built on the Ethereum blockchain where anyone can earn token rewards through skilled gameplay and contributions to the ecosystem.

AXS, the native token of the Axie Infinity ecosystem, is up by more than 2% today and currently trades at $68.41.
