HBAR Foundation, the development team behind the Hedera blockchain, announced via X on Thursday that A.R Rahman has unveiled his metahumans project on the Hedera blockchain. A.R Rahman is an Indian music composer, record producer, singer, songwriter, musician, multi-instrumentalist and philanthropist.
The project is a global band consisting of six dynamic virtual avatars representing people and cultures worldwide. The the band will usher in a new age of music, IP, and fan engagement. blending real and virtual worlds, by using state-of-the-art technologies, including visual effects and motion capture.
Furthermore, this band will launch exclusive music, digital collectibles, concert tickets, and other experiences on Hedera, the HBAR Foundation added.
Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.0844 at press time, up by 2% over the last 24 hours.
