Aptos Labs’ Petra Wallet Integrates With Coinbase Pay

Aptos Labs’ Petra Wallet has integrated with Coinbase Pay to enable users to seamlessly convert fiat to crypto and vice versa.

Petra Wallet Integrates With Coinbase Pay

The Aptos Labs team announced via a Medium post on Tuesday that its Petra Wallet has integrated with Coinbase Pay. The integration is with the mobile and desktop versions of its crypto wallet 

According to the post, the integration is designed to reduce friction when onboarding new users. Aptos Labs seeks to make it easier for Petra Wallet users to convert fiat into crypto and vice versa. 

The Aptos team added that "With Coinbase Pay, Coinbase users can add APT to Petra seamlessly through their choice of bank, debit card, credit card, and even their Coinbase account balance."

This latest development comes as more companies seek to improve the onboarding of new customers to their platforms by improving or adding functionalities.

In August, Aptos announced that it would be working with Microsoft to explore innovative solutions related to asset tokenization and digital payments. Furthermore, Coinbase has also been working with PayPal since 2021.
