AP13 will be launching a dedicated chain built with Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to allow dApps and their users to benefit from Oracle extractable value (OEV) normally captured by third parties.

The AP13 team announced via X on Tuesday that it will be launching a dedicated chain built with Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to allow dApps and their users to benefit from Oracle extractable value (OEV) normally captured by third parties.

OEV is profit oracles can extract from transactions due to their privileged position as the source of data feeds. With this latest development, the OEV Network will capture the OEV from all dApps that use API3 data feeds across all chains and return this value back to the protocols.

OEV Network is a specialized order flow auction platform that sells the rights to execute specific data feed updates for specific dApps to the highest bidder. Any dApp that uses API3 data feeds will be able to simply enable OEV Network and start earning, the team added.

Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. MATIC is down by 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.8103.

API3 is a data oracle that enables APIs to feed data to blockchain applications directly without third-party middlemen. API3 is currently trading at $2.842, down by 6% in the last 24 hours.
