The Algorand Foundation announced via X on Wednesday that it has partnered with the Crust Network, a decentralized storage and hosting solutions platform. The integration of Crust Network’s storage services will bring several features to the Algorand ecosystem which will allow users and builders to leverage decentralized storage in the most seamless way possible.

By leveraging Crust’s Storage Smart Contracts, users can directly interact with Crust's decentralized storage services fully on-chain and totally permissionless. All Algorand users will be able to access Crust Files, an end-user-focused decentralized application to store files via an easy-to-use web interface, the team added.

Algorand is an open-source, permissionless, Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) blockchain protocol for “the next generation of financial products.” As such, Algorand ensures "full participation, protection and speed within a truly decentralized network."  ALGO is trading at $0.1974 at press time, up by 3% in the last 24 hours.
