On Wednesday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has secured a Money Transmitter License (MTL) in the State of Maine, further strengthening its regulatory position in the United States and reinforcing its long-term commitment to compliant global payment infrastructure.
This license authorizes Alchemy Pay to engage in regulated money transmission activities involving fiat and virtual currency services within the state, covering services related to receiving money or monetary value for transmission, including cryptocurrency exchange and custodial activities for personal and household purposes.
With the addition of Maine, Alchemy Pay now holds Money Transmitter Licenses across 17 U.S. states, including Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Wyoming, Arizona, South Carolina, Kansas, West Virginia, South Dakota, Nebraska, Delaware, Rhode Island, and Maine.
