On Tuesday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has partnered with Ripple to support fiat on-ramp access via Ripple USD (RLUSD).

On Tuesday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has partnered with Ripple to support fiat on-ramp access via  Ripple USD (RLUSD). This support enables users in over 173 countries to seamlessly purchase RLUSD through Alchemy Pay’s extensive fiat-crypto payment network. 

Fully backed 1:1 by U.S. dollars and equivalent cash reserves, RLUSD combines the security of fiat with the efficiencies of blockchain technology. It is built to support enterprise-grade applications, particularly in cross-border payments and digital finance infrastructure, leveraging Ripple’s proven ecosystem and regulatory expertise.

Alchemy Pay is a payment system focused on retail transactions at the point of sale and peer-to-peer remittance. Users can make payments using fiat, stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies on traditional payment systems. Alchemy Pay’s ACH token is down 1% in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.01912.

Ripple is a privately held company that is building a payment and exchange network (RippleNet) on top of a distributed ledger database (XRP Ledger). The main goal of Ripple is to connect banks, payment providers, and digital asset exchanges, enabling faster and cost-efficient global payments. XRP is down 3.5% in the last 24 hours and now trades at $2.1696.
