The Wormhole team announced via a tweet on Monday that the Algorand blockchain has joined its network.

The Wormhole team announced via a tweet on Monday that the Algorand blockchain has joined its network. Wormhole is an interoperability protocol powering the seamless transfer of value and information across 8 high-value chains. The integration will unlock a new level of interoperability for the Algorand ecosystem. 

Algorand is an open-source, permissionless, Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) blockchain protocol for “the next generation of financial products.” As such, Algorand ensures "full participation, protection and speed within a truly decentralized network."  ALGO is trading at $0.3512 at press time, up by 1% in the last 24 hours.
