On Friday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Telekom Web3 (MMS), a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, is joining LayerZero as a decentralized verifier network (DVN). Leveraging its trusted Open Telekom Cloud (OTC) infrastructure, Deutsche Telekom MMS operates the DVN to offer institutional clients, such as banks, stablecoin issuers, and exchanges, a secure, compliant, and scalable platform for cross-chain asset and message transfers.
The Telekom DVN is now available to all applications built with LayerZero. With twin-core data centers across Germany and the Netherlands, Deutsche Telekom’s OTC ensures that all processes comply with the highest European regulatory standards.
LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $2.735, up 4% in the last 24 hours.
