Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that Spicenet is joining Chainlink Build to gain enhanced access to the Chainlink standard and technical support. This will help support the security and use of DeFi brokerage networks.
Spicenet’s DeFi brokerage network enables access to leading DeFi protocols across ecosystems. Its products, Spice Flow and Spice Edge, are plug-and-play APIs/SDKs that connect users and liquidity across top DeFi platforms.
As part of Build, Spicenet will receive key benefits, including access to and the integration of Chainlink as its exclusive data and cross-chain interoperability infrastructure, in which CCIP will enable cross-chain token transfers. In addition, Spicenet will gain early access to product releases and other key benefits.
In return, Spicenet will make a percentage of its total native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 6.6% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $12.70 at press time.
