The Near Foundation announced via X on Friday that Prom has integrated the NEAR Data Availability solution to unlock scalability opportunities for rollup developers into its ecosystem. Prom is a modular zkEVM Layer 2 connecting EVM and non-EVM worlds through interoperability.

NEAR’s Data Availability solution offers low costs and a reliable underlying structure, allowing developers to make the most of the NEAR out-of-the-box tools for building. By using the NEAR DA solution, Prom, and other key players within the ecosystem will flexibly address the existing constraints in the blockchain architecture.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees.NEAR is trading at $7.330, up by 7% in the last 24 hours.
