On Thursday, the LayerZero team announced via X that it has partnered with PayPal to drive greater availability of PYUSD across blockchains. PayPal’s PYUSD stablecoin is currently available on Arbitrum, Ethereum, Solana, and Stellar blockchains.

The partnership with LayerZero brings PYUSD0 to additional blockchains, including Abstract, Aptos, Avalanche, Ink, Sei, Stable, and Tron. Furthermore, existing Berachain (BYUSD) and Flow (USDF) will upgrade to PYUSD0.

With this expansion, users who self-custodies their PYUSD can move the stablecoin seamlessly between blockchains without needing to rely on the existing and centralized banking infrastructure.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $2.02, up 2% in the last 24 hours.
