On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Paxos has launched USDG0 and it is powered by LayerZero. USDG0 is the extension to USDG, built to expand the Global Dollar to new ecosystems, starting with Aptos, Hyperliquid, and Plume. 

USDG0 It allows network partners  to participate in the economic upside of stablecoins directly on their platforms, aligning growth, yield, and trust. Built on LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, USDG0 enables seamless movement of the Global Dollar across any network safely and compliantly.

As USDG0 expands, every network and protocol gains the ability to integrate trusted, economically aligned stablecoins into their products, thereby participating directly in the economics of the stablecoin layer.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $1.386, down 2.6% in the last 24 hours.
