The Ontology team reminded its community on Twitter that the mainnet upgrade is scheduled for today. The upgrade will allow the Ontology blockchain to gain Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) support and a few other updates. 

Ontology is a high-performance public blockchain and distributed collaboration platform. Ontology aims at solving the trust problem with blockchains, with a prime focus on issues such as identity security and data integrity.

ONT token is up by more than 1% in the last 24 hours and now trades at $0.5136.
