With the backing of gaming powerhouses Ubisoft and Bandai Namco, Oasys expands its footprint in Japan via the SBINFT Market.

Oasys, a blockchain network tailored for gaming, is set to amplify the crypto gaming landscape in Japan with its latest collaboration with SBINFT Market. Operated by a subsidiary of SBI Group, a leading Japanese financial institution headquartered in Tokyo, SBINFT Market serves as a pivotal NFT marketplace.

Having already attracted attention from established gaming entities like Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, and Sega, Oasys is strategically positioning itself to foster growth within Japan's burgeoning blockchain gaming sector.

SBINFT Market now extends its support to assets stemming from Oasys' Hub-Layer (layer-1) and MCH Verse (layer-2) blockchains, complementing its existing integration with Oasys' HOME Verse. This integration empowers developers utilizing Oasys to market their NFTs through the platform, subject to approval.

Daiki Moriyama, Director of Oasys, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership's potential: "SBINFT Market's embrace of Oasys' Hub-Layer and MCH Verse significantly enriches our ecosystem, offering users and developers expanded avenues for monetization and interaction within the blockchain gaming sphere. We are thrilled to deepen our presence in Japan, introducing our specialized gaming-centric blockchain solutions to one of the globe's most innovative markets."

Listing on SBINFT Market is exclusive to NFTs originating from authorized artists and Oasys-affiliated providers. Launched in 2021, SBINFT Market hosts tokenized assets spanning digital art, music, in-game items, and event tickets, facilitating transactions via cryptocurrencies and credit cards. Additionally, it accommodates NFTs on Ethereum and Polygon networks.

Among the notable projects on Oasys is Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, an upcoming game by Ubisoft, renowned for its Assassin’s Creed franchise. Furthermore, Oasys boasts its own OASYX NFT collection, enhancing its appeal within the crypto gaming landscape.
