NYSE Plans To Launch It's Own NFT Marketplace

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is reportedly planning to create a marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), with the possibility of releasing an NYSE-branded cryptocurrency. 

It is believed that the NYSE has filed a trademark application with the US Patent and Trademark Office, with the ambition of becoming a financial exchange for crypto trading. It is reported that the exchange plans to offer “downloadable virtual goods” and authentication of NFT data using blockchain technology.
