NEAR Intents Now Supports Tron

On Thursday, the Near Protocol announced via X that NEAR Intents now supports Tron, one of the leading blockchains in the crypto space. Users can now USDT from Near to Tron, with no wallet setup, no bridges, no chain switching.

The integration also supports native $TRX swap to $USDT with $NEAR, $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $XRP, and $DOGE.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees. NEAR is trading at $2.390, down 0.94% in the last 24 hours.

TRON is a public blockchain attempting to become the core infrastructure for a decentralized internet. TRON relies on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) mechanism in which 27 Super Representatives rotate every 6 hours to validate blocks and transactions. TRX is down 0.75% today and is trading at $0.3355 at press time.
