The Pancakeswap team announced via a tweet on Monday that the Metis Farm and Syrup Pool are now live on its platform. As such, users can now stake CAKE tokens and earn METIS. The annual percentage rate (APR) will drop as liquidity increases, Pancakeswap added. 

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is up by more than 1% so far today and is currently trading at $4.696.
