The Klaytn team announced the launch of Klaytn v1.8.0 in a blog post earlier today. This new version is a major milestone towards achieving Ethereum Equivalence, an initiative that will enable seamless integration of Ethereum development tools with the Klaytn ecosystem.
Klaytn v1.8.0 will see all features supported by Ethereum’s London Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) now supported on Klaytn.
Klaytn is a public blockchain developed by Ground X, the blockchain arm of Korea’s internet giant Kakao with 50 million users worldwide. KLAY, the native token of Klaytn, is up by 5% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $1.275.
