Internet Computer’s Post-Genesis R&D Roadmap comes with some crucial improvements

The DFINITY Foundation provided a post-genesis R&D roadmap for the Internet Computer ecosystem over the weekend. According to its Twitter post, the Internet Computer blockchain will focus on DeFi enhancements, direct integrations with Bitcoin and Ethereum, tokenization, and more.

The Internet Computer is a layer-1 protocol that is developed by the DFINITY Foundation and aims to become a blockchain network that evolves the internet. ICP, the native coin of the Internet Computer, is up by nearly 2% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $23.68 at press time.
