Chainlink announced via X on Monday that the Capital Markets and Technology Association (CMTA), a leading organization developing standards for tokenized assets, has adopted the Chainlink interoperability standard.
Thanks to this adoption, CMTA tokens are now natively transferable across the multi-chain economy. CMTAT tokens can now be registered with CCIP without requiring any modifications to the CMTAT codebase, enabling cross-chain token transfers and expanding the compatibility of tokenized assets across blockchain ecosystems.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 5.9% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $12.79 at press time.
