Chainlink announced via X on Tuesday that BOB, a hybrid chain serving as a gateway to Bitcoin DeFi, has joined Chainlink Scale and adopted the Chainlink data standard. s part of the program, highly reliable, secure, and decentralized Chainlink Data Feeds are now live on BOB. Developers can now leverage institutional-grade Chainlink Data Feeds to launch secure markets, unlock new use cases, and power a new wave of growth for BOB’s Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem.
BOB is a new type of Bitcoin-secured blockchain: a hybrid ZK rollup on Ethereum where all apps, assets, and transactions are also secured by billions of dollars of staked Bitcoin.
BOB previously upgraded to Chainlink CCIP as its canonical cross-chain infrastructure for native assets, in addition to USDC, and now Open USDT.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 2.6% over the past 24 hours, trading at $16.34.
