On Thursday, the Hedera Foundation announced via a blog post that Axelar Network, a cross-chain interoperability protocol that connects over 60 major blockchains including Arbitrum, Solana, and XRPL, is now integrated with Hedera.
Hedera’s integration with Axelar unlocks a direct gateway to liquidity pools and diverse decentralized applications (dApps) across web3, empowering users to seamlessly move assets between other network's native borders and Hedera.
Several Hedera ecosystem projects are already implementing Axelar into their platforms. Saucerswap, one of Hedera's leading decentralized exchanges, is integrating Axelar directly into its user interface, making cross-chain transfers more accessible for everyday users without requiring multiple steps or external tools.
Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.1360 at press time, down 7.6% over the last 24 hours.
