On Friday, the Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post that it has expanded its On-Ramp capabilities with the addition of support for the South African Rand (ZAR) via local banks.
With this expansion, users in South Africa can now seamlessly purchase crypto using their local fiat currency through secure and efficient bank transfers. The integration means Alchemy Pay is removing one of the key barriers for South African users—enabling them to onboard crypto using trusted domestic payment methods. The integration allows bank transfer payments from the following major South African banks: FNB (First National Bank), Absa, Investec, ABN AMRO Bank, Stanbic Bank, Bidvest Bank, and TymeBank.
Alchemy Pay is a payment system focused on retail transactions at the point of sale and peer-to-peer remittance. Users can make payments using fiat, stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies on traditional payment systems. Alchemy Pay’s ACH token is down 1.3% in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.01920.
