Market Volume

Market Volume or Trading Volume is the number of cryptocurrencies sold/bought during a certain period of time, multiplied with the price such cryptocurrencies were sold/bought for.

For instance, if 10 tokens have been sold during a relevant time, and the price in all trades were USD 100 per token, the volume was USD 1,000.

Market Volume is most often measured in a 24 hour-period.
