Triple Dice Exchange is a Singaporean cryptocurrency exchange. There are a lot of exchanges registered in Singapore, and out of the dozen or more Singaporean exchanges we list in our Cryptocurrency Exchange List, Coinut (and also Coss.io) seems to be the most popular ones. But let’s dive into Triple Dice Exchange!

The company behind Triple Dice Exchange is MYTHOLOGY HOLDINGS PTE LTD, run by the CEO Takuya Hashiyada.

With respect to languages, the site is available in both English and Japanese. It refers to itself as a “next-generation digital currency exchange”. It does however not, at least not in the English version of the site, motivate why this statement is true so we’re still a bit curious about what they mean with “next generation”.

US-investors may not trade here. The reason for excluding US-investors are primarily regulatory reasons. The US-legal regime imposes obligations on many companies accepting funds from US-investors. Such obligations include, inter alia, preparing marketing material in accordance with SEC-standards and registering them with the SEC (which is a very burdensome process). Don’t be too sad though, there are many other venues that offer the type of trading this exchange does. Use our Exchange Finder to find out which alternatives you have.

Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading interface at Triple Dice Exchange (from the exchange’s own educational material):

The trading fees for takers here are 0.60%. This is a painful fee. It is roughly three times higher than the industry average (0.25%). Compared to Coinut, for instance, which has 0.10% flat fees, the 0.60% taker fees seem particularly unfair. Sure, this trading platform offers a 50% discount to the makers in a trade, so the makers only have to pay 0.30% in trading fees. However, this is still three times higher than what is offered by Coinut.

Seeing how this exchange absolutely punishes its traders with their trading fees, you might believe that they would have low withdrawal fees. But no. These are also crazy high. When you withdraw BTC, you need to pay 0.004 BTC. This is forty (40) times higher than what you have to pay at Coinut. FORTY TIMES.

To conclude on this review’s section on fees, this exchange receives an F-mark.

The platform offers wire transfer as a deposit method, but you can’t deposit via credit card. This of course negative news to you if you would prefer to use your credit card for any reason.
