Bybit Trading App UX Beats 2,000 Finalists to Claim Gold at iF Design Award

Bybit’s crypto trading app is officially the nicest in the industry. While the exchange’s 15 million users were already aware of the app’s clean UI and smooth UX, this has been ratified by a Gold Trophy awarded to Bybit in the 2023 iF Design Award finals. More than 2,000 companies were represented in the finals, with just 75 walking away with a coveted Gold Trophy.

Bybit Adds Another Best to Its Resumé

Bybit has earned acclaim in the past on account of its trading engine, whose low latency and uptime have made it a favorite among professional crypto traders. Now, the design of Bybit’s trading app has been singled out for praise. The 88 judges who cast their vote for the winners of the iF Design Award 2023 highlighted two features in particular: Bybit Copy Trading and Crypto Strategy Creation.

These features have been integrated into the Bybit app in a manner that makes it easy for users to grasp these products, despite their highly technical nature and range of customizable options each carries. Crypto Strategy Creation allows users to create trading strategies that are tailored to their needs, while the Copy Trading feature, which is a firm favorite with novice traders, allows newcomers to replicate the positions taken by more experienced hands.

70 Years of Design Excellence

Having been established in 1954, the iF Design Award is approaching its 70th anniversary. While user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) are relatively recent terms, good design is timeless. Since their inception, the awards have recognized outstanding design in areas such as product packaging. In the smartphone era, good design is more important than ever to help users navigate an array of options using simple gestures such as touch and swipe.

Much of the credit for Bybit’s success at this year’s iF Design Award, whose winners were crowned at a lavish event in Berlin on May 15, goes to Derek Wang, Senior Product Design Manager. “We are proud to have emerged as winners in this year’s cutthroat competition,” he beamed. “This is a record year for us in elevating user journeys and our efforts were recognized by the gold standard of UX design that is the iF Awards.”

In late March, design experts from around the world met to determine the winners of the iF Design Award 2023. To coincide with the delivery of their verdict, the organization published the iF Design Trend Report 2023, highlighting innovations that are being applied to such domains as smart cities and digital worlds.

In claiming one of the highly coveted Gold Trophies, Bybit finds itself in rarified company, ranking alongside some of the world’s trendiest digital companies and lifestyle brands. Users of its crypto trading platform, however, are simply grateful to have found an app that’s a pleasure to use. Crypto is often slated for its non-intuitive design that thwarts onboarding and deters new users. Through its best-in-class app, Bybit has gone a small way towards remedying that.
